When you need a structured space to think clearly and move forward

Most people, at some point, find themselves with something important to work out—and nobody quite right to work it out with.

The people around you care, but they’re not neutral.

They have their own views, their own stake, their own idea of what you should do.

What you actually need is someone trained to help you think—who will listen properly, ask the questions you haven’t asked yourself, and stay entirely focused on what’s right for you.

That’s what I offer through coaching and mentoring:  a conversation that’s entirely focused on you—and that helps you see your situation more clearly and move forward with more confidence than you had before.

Two ways we can work together

Coaching

I create structured space for you to think, ask questions that shift perspective, and help you find your own answers and act on them.

Mentoring

I offer perspective, advice and practical guidance drawn from almost 30 years as a creative practitioner; leader; consultant and board advisor across multiple industry sectors.

How it works

Each session follows a simple but effective path.

1.

Explore situation

We start with what's really going on: exploring the situation, identifying what matters most, and finding the right things to focus on.

2.

Define goals

We work out what a better outcome looks like for you.

3.

Focus on goals

Then we focus on how to get there. Each session ends with reflection on progress and learning, and a focus on how to move forward from here.

This work is for

Coaching and mentoring can benefit anyone navigating change, transition or growth – regardless of background, seniority or sector.

Those I support include graduates starting out, creative professionals stepping into leadership, senior leaders who need space for guided thinking, those facing restructures or redundancies or career changes, and individuals reconsidering direction at any stage of their lives.

I work with a small number of clients at a reduced or pro bono rate where financial or other exceptional circumstances apply.

Why me?

I'm a Business and Personal Coach (ICF-accredited Level 2).

Those I work with often tell me I see things in a different way – I notice patterns you might be missing, ask questions that help unlock your thinking.

I bring warmth, curiosity and humanity to conversations that can feel heavy.

Coaching or Mentoring?

I offer both coaching and mentoring.

Coaching

is a structured, goal-oriented partnership focused on helping you find your own answers. I ask questions, surface patterns, and create space for you to think clearly and move forward.

is more directive. I offer my own experience in the conversation, offering perspective, honest advice and practical guidance drawn from almost 30 years across the creative industries.

Mentoring

While they share some similarities, they're different approaches — and choosing the right one depends on what you're looking for.

Not sure which is right for you? These questions might help.

What are you looking for?

If you want support to explore your own thinking and find your own answers, coaching is likely what you need.

If you want specific advice and direction from someone who’s navigated similar challenges, mentoring is probably the right fit.

What would success look like for you?

If success means gaining clarity, intention and momentum on what matters to you, coaching is the better fit.

If success means gaining industry knowledge and direction from an experienced creative leader, mentoring is right for you.

What is your focus?

If you’re navigating change, building confidence, or working through what comes next, coaching is more likely to help.

If you’re developing in the creative industries specifically and want to understand how this sector works, mentoring is the better fit.

What kind of relationship appeals to you?

If you want to work with someone who helps you find your own answers, that's coaching.

If you want to learn from someone who's been where you want to go, that's mentoring.

How do you prefer to work?

If you want someone to ask powerful questions that help you find your own answers, that's coaching.

If you want someone to share their experience and tell you what they might do, that's mentoring.

Some ways I
can
help you

Coaching for career change

Redundancy, restructure, a promotion, a career that needs rethinking.

These moments matter—and having the right person alongside you makes a real difference.

Someone independent, to help you think clearly, find your footing and work out what comes next.

Mentoring for creative leaders

Taking on your first leadership role—or a significantly bigger one—changes everything.

The skills that got you here aren’t always the ones you need now. I combine ICF-accredited coaching with experience of building and leading teams across multiple industries—helping you navigate the transition with confidence.

Coaching for leaders stepping up

Creative leaders are responsible for subjective work, produced by people who care deeply about it, inside organisations that want to measure and control it.

I’ve navigated that territory—holding the line with the team while being commercial with the business—and I offer practical guidance, honest challenge and a clear idea of what to do next.
